1. Who we are

OffTheBoot is preparing digital detox and digital well-being retreats in Italy, and is based in Padova, Italy. Any communication, including those required by law, can be sent to info@offtheboot.com.

2. What the Site currently offers

Our retreats are in preparation and are not yet available for booking or purchase. At present, the Site offers:

• Information about the retreats we are building, including a blog with travel writing about Italy;
• A free waiting list: you can leave your email address (and, optionally, a name and a message) to be notified when retreat dates and experiences become available.

Nothing on the Site constitutes an offer to sell a retreat, a travel package, or any other service. Descriptions of future retreats are indicative and may change before launch. When retreats become bookable, the applicable conditions, prices, and cancellation rules will be provided to you clearly before any purchase, and a purchase will be governed by the specific terms presented at that time.

3. The waiting list

• Joining the waiting list is free of charge.
• It creates no obligation for you to book anything, and no obligation for us to reserve a place for you or to launch any specific retreat.
• We use your email only to tell you about the retreats, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can ask to be removed at any time by writing to info@offtheboot.com.

4. Site content

The content of the Site, including the blog, is general information based on our personal experience. It is not professional, medical, or psychological advice. If you are dealing with issues related to technology use or mental health, please speak with a qualified professional. We do not guarantee that any information on the Site (places, opening hours, conditions) is accurate or current.

5. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when you join the waiting list or contact us;
• Use the Site and its content for personal, non-commercial purposes only;
• Not attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the Site.

6. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — text, images, and logos — is owned by OffTheBoot or licensed to us. Reproduction, republication, or redistribution of Site content is not permitted without our prior written consent, except for brief quotations with attribution.

7. Limitation of liability

The Site is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by Italian law, we are not liable for damages arising from your use of the Site or your reliance on its content. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for wilful misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable mandatory law, including the Italian Consumer Code.

8. Data protection

Personal data you provide is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, in particular when the retreats become bookable. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest version.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law. For consumer relationships, the competent court is the court of the place where you reside or have your domicile, if located in Italy (Art. 66-bis of the Italian Consumer Code). For all other disputes, the competent court is Padova, Italy.

11. Contact and provider identification

OffTheBoot is operated by Alice Bertolio, natural person, based in Padova (PD), Italy.
