We are Alice & Cesare,
two Italians and curious travelers

Ciao! We are passionate travelers who have lived abroad and explored more than 50 countries in the last ten years.

Along the way we developed our own travel approach: keeping an open mind, moving at a human pace, avoiding tourist traps, seeking genuine contact with local people. Always keeping our love for nature and food in the center.

During our trips we met so many locals and like-minded travelers who shared experiences, pointed us somewhere unexpected, invited us to their table, and each one of them inspired us to do the same for others.

That's why we came back to Italy and created OffTheBoot, to help like-minded foreign travelers discover the authentic Italy that too often stays hidden.
